Stay at home and enjoy the warmth of a roaring log fireplace during the winter (wood supplied May to September) or stay cool with the reverse cycle air conditioning across the warmer months. The house boasts a 55 inch Sony LCD television, CEL FI Telstra mobile phone booster (Full 3G signal) and free WIFI. Great outdoor entertaining with a gas BBQ on a huge eight acre. Ideally located within a five to ten minute drive to Margaret River town centre or the coast with a choice of great surf beaches. Pets are allowed upon request (Please note; the property is not fenced). Downtime was in a nice, quiet bushland area. Not too far to drive to Margaret River Town Centre. All amenities were covered. The kangaroos greeted us a few times as we drove onto the drive-way!

This is a lovely well maintained & equipped house with delightful open fire. Appreciated the effective reverse cycle heater/aircon. Quiet area conveniently located between Margaret River and the coast. Hosts were very helpful when needed.

Awesome location. Downtime speaks for itself. Great to get out of the city and into the scrub. However for the price my partner and I were expecting more value for money relating to having a more equipped home with everything supplied such as laundry powder. My partner was upset not to see a pizza oven as advertised. Once again awesome location and Steve and Tina were prompt when contacting.'

'Great location! 10 minute drive into the town where there is lots of great restaurants and bakery's. A very homely place, very welcoming! there are board games and dvd supplied just incase you forgot to pack something. A nice cosy get away :)'

Secluded property on large block of land, lovely home with loft, we had a quiet and relaxing stay at Downtime. The house had everything we needed. Be careful with water usage as there is tank water only. Location was terrific to use as a base for exploring the magnificent Margaret River region - the stunning Coast & beaches, and over 100 wineries and breweries. Highly recommend!

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful secluded spot. Easy to get to Prevelly and Margaret River. All the amenities you could wish for. Fantastic customer service from Steve who assisted us with a slight maintenance issue. Can highly recommend this home and it’s owners.

Beautiful cottage to escape from it all! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our 5-day stay here! The house was very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for cooking. We loved the rural landscape and visiting kangaroos. We enjoyed the region’s beaches and attractions during the day, then cooked and chilled in by a fire with a nice bottle of wine in the evenings once our little one was in bed. Pure bliss!

I stayed three nights at Down Time. As I was visiting family in Margaret River, I spent little of the day hours at the house. I did see a Kangaroo in the front garden, who seemed quite inquisitive, but did not stay too long. Just long enough for a quick photo through the glass doors.It was early morning, and quite a surprise (for me mostly). Down Time is very thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and set up with all you need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The bedroom is quite a squeeze for the large bed that occupies the main space in the downstairs area. Having said that, it was just me, and suited my needs for a great nights sleep. Lounge/family, dining and kitchen lovely and very modern. Recommend a stay, especially if you want the peace and bush setting that it offers.

We had a lovely stay in the house, it was as shown - spacious, comfortable, well appointed; with some special touches like the wood fire (stocked with wood!) and local coffee for our use. Just a note on the sleeping arrangement- there are 2 bedrooms each with queen (one ground floor & one first floor), 5th bed is a single on the upstairs landing. Comms & check in/out were a breeze & we'd happily stay again.

Spent 12 days in this wonderful house overlooking the river. The space is great for 3 young kids to run around. We enjoyed the close proximity to town centre and the nice jogging trail in the woods. It's a good 5km run! The house itself is tastefully decorated and kept in tip top condition. Everything works. I wouldn't be surprised if I find myself renting this place again in the future.

Excellent holiday accommodation. Very clean, spacious and family-friendly holiday home. Beautiful bush views of the surrounding vegetation and wildlife. Close proximity to the town centre (8 minutes) with so many good restaurants to choose from. The kids loved it and will definitely be back to stay again on our next holiday in Margaret River!

“Amazing spot out in nature not far from local shops and cafe's. Very well thought out space with enough space and utilities which easily accommodated two couples. From the minute you step out into the property you are greeted with a serene vibe which doesn't leave you until well after your stay is over. We travelled in a group of four and can say that this property exceeded our (already high) expectations in every way. Definitely a place to consider when in Margaret River. The whole place was sparkly clean and everything was in functional order. Communication with Steve and Tina was always quick and responsive.”
